Scuba Steve Escape: Make it to the Surface or get Sealed Down in Davy Jones Locker
Steve, often referred to as Scuba Steve due to his preference for underwater breathing equipment, had a certain flair for all things under the water. Other people enjoyed surfing or water skiing off the beach. They skirted around on personal watercraft and sailed on their expensive yachts.

A simple life was best for Steve, however, and hed previously eked out a meager existence by selling starfish on the beach. He had a stand and generally if nothing else vacationers had a tendency to buy a few of his prized echinoderms.

Eventually he had attracted a fairly regular clientele who enjoyed trading in some of the finest starfish around. While most people though of Steve as a beach bum who wasted all of his days underneath the waves, a few enlightened souls enjoyed the spiny marine bodies that he brought back to the surface.

Wealthy and interesting people had a tendency to stop at Scuba Steves stand and buy more than a few of those brilliantly colored sea stars. Nevertheless, Steve had a problem. That problem was going to haunt him for life.

For as much as Steve loved his unique and laidback way of life, he always had a tendency to have bad luck. Bad luck plagued him and that had a tendency to shape his .

Just as his beach side stand was starting to become really popular, it was wrecked. As he walked to it one day he found the entire thing in shambles, which initially lead him to believe a tidal wave must have wrecked the thing in the middle of the night. While he usually stuck around in the evenings, Steve had to attend one of the big beach bon fires the night before where he was the guest of honor.

Of course, that doesnt mean that any of those five-fingers appeared on the menu. Various other types of fruit from the deep were served along with some things from the local surf shack. Regardless of what had gone on the night before on the beach, the fact that his sea star stand was in shambles suggested that something fairly major must have happened to it.

It didnt take long until the presence of a menacing beast of the waters gave Steve a clue. A shark tornado had taken out everything that was held dear to him. Fortunately his scuba equipment had been stored back at his home so he still had that.

It was clear what Steve had to do. He needed to dive quickly to collect enough starfish to sell on the beach and raise money to get his stand back. While it seemed hasty, he wasnt really aware of any other option available to him. To make matters worse he didnt have any other way to get money except for bumming up the tourists.

Well, Steve departed on what looked like it might have been a fairly desperate dive. He wasnt aware of the fact that he was going to have an adventure, however. The previous evenings shark tornado had shaken everything up and that meant that fish and sharks were everywhere, and they wanted revenge on the man who kept messing with their aquatic environments.

To make matters worse, in his haste to get back in the water Steve had forgotten to check all of his equipment. His tank was running on empty and he was forced to collect air bubbles on his way back up to the surface. While it looked like he could easily escape from a watery grave, things might not have been so simple. After all, it looked like a few of those sharks and fish still wanted a bite out of that wetsuit on Steves way up to the surface.
